What is Reptile and why should I trust it?

We have been building apps for content owners for more than ten years. ‘Project Reptile’ started a few years ago to automate the time-consuming manual builds.

Our expertise so far is with B2B applications for content owners and organisations who have existing subscribers – like membership organisations and professional bodies.

We are not experts in B2C apps for e-commerce or audience growth and monetisation.

AI agents

Apps and AI agents go very well together.

Your phone has an amazing set of in-built tools which can make apps very powerful as they can tap into location services, communication tools, audio, video, photos etc.

But we can now use third party AI agents to super-charge them.

A simple example is search. You can put your entire website, corporate library, manuals or journals into an app and generate your own ChatGPT type search and summary.

Time consuming tasks like logging reports or CPD can now be done by voice dictation. Communications and updates can be summarised and delivered by voice or message on the go.

Think out of the box

A lot of organisations say ‘we don’t need an app, we have a website.’

To be honest, a good app can make your website as obsolete as an old world library of books. You may still need a library, but most people won’t use it.

Mobile apps are a great starting point to test an idea. With Reptile they are quick and cheap to set-up, agile and easy to trial interesting ideas.
