To build an app with Reptile will be 80% cheaper than building it using traditional developer and agency route.
You can now create an individual app concept by using our AI design assistant. This will let you test your idea and use the AI design as a template for your finished app.
To start you just need a monthly subscription, which you can cancel at any time. Reptile will hold a call with you at no charge to discuss your app and answer any technical or store publishing questions you have.
You can complete your app on your own and then, subject to its size, must take out a monthly support and maintenance plan from the time your app goes live (see support prices).
Or you can opt for an assisted build, with technical and other help provided by Reptile. The estimate of the time we will need depends on the complexity of your app.
Yes - every app which is published in the stores on the Reptile platform will have a monthly support and maintenance plan.
In return for this we will keep the app up-to-date with software changes mandated by the stores. We will also run the services through Reptile to keep your app functioning - content, data, APIs. And we will be on hand to support you when you need it.
The support contract is determined by the size and complexity of your app: the more data and services it consumes the higher the cost.
Yes. You will need to keep your monthly account live and also pay for the monthly support and maintenance plan.
See prices for the individual subscriptions and support plans. These start from £100 or €£ a month.
Published apps that are on a recurring monthly support plan can be cancelled at a month's notice. For larger, corporate apps, we ask for three month's notice.
Reptile apps are dynamic and controlled from the Reptile CMS. They are designed to be updated in real-time without having to create a new build.
If there are features hardwired in your app that means it has to be re-built we can do that. Reptile automated the generation of new builds so it is not difficult to do. It may take a week to see the new app in the stores but can be quicker than that if they approve it faster.
Your app will be built on Reptile using our proprietary code – this cannot be moved and is operated on a software as a service (SAAS) model. You can however share your app designs with another developer and ask them to make a copy of your app. You are the publisher of your app and therefore you own all of the customer interactions with the app.
So swapping the Reptile app with one built by another developer will not affect your customers and would be a similar experience to them as a normal app upgrade.
To have an account on the Apple and the Google Play Android stores requires the app publisher to meet certain legal requirements. You have to pay a small annual fee to them for your store account and you will periodically have to acknowledge changes to their Terms and Conditions. We cannot do this on your behalf.
If your app takes payments this also enables Apple and Google Play to pay you directly. We do not take any payments on your behalf. We also do not collect end-user data. Transactions between you and the app users are not monitored or recorded by Reptile.
